 The Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Sulaiman bin Md Ali has been visiting the lower income groups these days and handing out food bags to them. He knows that these lower income groups affected by the COVID-19 pandemic needed a little support from him. On Saturday 10 July 2021, Sulaiman visited Kampung Chetti and Kampung Jawa to hand out food bags to them. Sulaiman also asked the folks to stay safe and get vaccinated. Me too, was given a set of the food bags with the following items:- a pack of 5kg rice a bottle of 1kg cooking oil a pack of crackers a pack of rice vermicelli a pack of tea a pack of coffee mixture bags a pack of 350g of sea salt a pack of wheat flour two tins of sardine two tins of creamer two packs of white sugar The rice is contributed by YAB Datuk Seri Utama Haji Sulaiman Md Ali and his wife, YABHG Datin Seri Utama Hajjah Munira Binti M.   Wesak has been celebrated within the compound of Seck Kia Eenh for the second year consecutively after Covid-19 started to freeze groups activities in early January 2019. Vice President of Seck Kia Eenh, Baba Cedric Tan, briefed Melaka TV what happened during Wesak Day celebrations in the past before Covid-19 attacks Melaka. Cedric also shared how Wesak is celebrated on Wednesday 26 March 2021. Cedric Tan added, "Only 10 committee members are allowed to enter the premises for prayers within the stipulated hours of the Covid-19 SOP.
