Makan atas sungai Melaka
Sungai merupakan sejenis saluran air tabii yang besar. Sumber sungai boleh jadi dari tasik, mata air ataupun anak-anak sungai. Dari sumbernya semua sungai menuruni bukit, dan merupakan cara biasa air hujan yang turun di daratan untuk mengalir ke laut atau takungan air yang besar seperti tasik.
Mulut, ataupun hujung sungai di laut dipanggil muara, manakala puncanya di panggil ulu.
Air sungai biasanya terbatas di dalam satu saluran, yang terdiri daripada dasar sungai yang di antara dua tebing di kiri dan kanan.
Kebanyakan curahan hujan di darat akan melalui sungai dalam perjalanannya ke laut.
Sesebuah sungai biasanya terdiri dari beberapa anak sungai yang bergabung.
Makan atas sungai Melaka pada waktu malam amat seronok kepada semua orang dan hanya mencuba, kita akan bersetuju dengan nikmatnya.
