Dendrodium Zurina A cross between Dendrobium Penang Little Magic x Dendrobiu m violaceaflavens. Dendrobium Penang Little Magic was used as maternal while Dendrobium violaceaflavens as a paternal parent. A curly horn-type Dendrobium orchid which is relatively heat-resistance and requires a lot of sunlight (70 – 80%) for frequent flowering. Know as Dendrobium curly horn-type due to the twisted curly and horn shaped sepal and petal. Flowers are yellow with dark red column and labellum or lips. Flowers size 4.8 cm horizontally and 3.5 vertically, spirally well arranged on stalk of 35 – 40 cm long with 15 – 23 flowers. The flower sprays can last 3 – 4 weeks bearing on moderately tall plant.
