Happy Birthday Singapore 2019
By 5 pm, watch the livestream of the Singapore's National Day Parade at the Padang as it marks the 54th years of independence and the 200th anniversary of British arrival in Singapore. This year parade will see the leaders of Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia as attending guests.
Majulah Singapura (English: Onward Singapore; Chinese: 前进吧，新加坡; Tamil: முன்னேறட்டும் சிங்கப்பூர்) is the national anthem of Singapore. Composed by Zubir Said in 1958 as a theme song for official functions of the City Council of Singapore, the song was selected in 1959 as the island's anthem when it attained self-government.
