Blooming of the Dragon Fruit in Melaka
In certain countries, the blooming of Dragon Fruit start
after the sun set from between 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm and reaches full bloom by
about 10.00 pm. Full bloom means the flower has reached full maturity. If you
like blooming flowers, it means you have learn to appreciate the beauty of
flowers when it is at their brightest moment. A bloom is a flower.
The anthurium is the world’s longest blooming plant.
The dragon fruit flower bloom overnight after 13 days as bud
and the flower wither before noon next day. Pollination takes place after full
bloom at about 10.00 pm until before noon next day. If you want to watch the
bees pollinating the flower, you should stand beside the dragon fruit plant by
6.30 am before the sky glows bright. About 50 days from pollination, you can
enjoy your fragrant juicy sweetie fruit with your loved ones.
Dragon fruit is low in calories and high in vitamin C and
fiber.
In Melaka, abloom when the flower thrives in beauty, health
and vigor is about 10.00 pm to about 10.30 pm influenced by nature changes. The
recording began on 8.13 pm when a mature bud which is about to bloom within
some 800 dragon fruit plants in rural darkness.
The very gentle minute by minute unfolding of the sepal, and
petal exposes the filament, anther, style and stigma proudly supported by the
receptacle and OMG, the angelic flower is not only eye-catching but enchanting. WATCH
The maghrib at 7.24 pm and the isha at 8.36 pm last night (Tuesday 6 August 2019 农历七月初六 6 Zulhijjah 1440) seemed to penetrate all spaces between every stem and leaves of the plant when
I was squatting low to capture a few above ground clips. You cannot imagine how
you would feel except you choose to be there yourself while this thought shall
remain as a dream until the night-blooming cactus open your mind further on what
fluffiness means.
As the evening breeze mildly squeezes over you, and the
little crescent moon watching you from above as the shadow of two men *1 casted onto
the retina, everything surrounding seemed to be kissable. (Kissable means ‘inviting
to be kissed’ ; ‘capable of being kissed’ ; ‘attractive’)
Sharing this video with Sunny Yee, my childhood
friend, he loves to give to my asking and for this chase of beauty moments
seized with a Sony 4K Handycam, let’s read,
Bunga mengembang di waktu malam,
Indah nya rupa bagai Sang Puteri,
Ini lah dia ciptaan alam,
Bersinar cahaya dan berseri-seri.
Note:
*1 two men : one is my childhood friend, the other is his worker
