Tin Mining Melaka 1793

1807 recorded that the Naning mine was opened and it was the first small scale tin mining which is located on the north of Melaka.

Heeren Street, Melaka

Before 1850s, the best houses in Heeren Street, Melaka were homes to the Dutches and today Heeren Street is also known as Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock.

Malacca Observer is the name for the Melaka's first newspaper which was in circulation from 1826 to 1829.

Treaty of London 1824 to Melaka

William Farquhar was in Melaka from 1803 to 1818 after he arrived with the invasion force, married a local girl and was known as the 'Rajah of Melaka'.
